You’re a success story to youth, to what do you attribute your success?
Gambu – W Security & Cleaning Services is a 100% black owned 100% women owned, and 100% youth owned South African Security & Cleaning Company. I believe that my passion to becoming successful is alone an achievement, not only for me as an individual but a success story for my community. Youth must adopt the same passion; I have been fortunate to have had an incredible upbringing with parents who laid a solid foundation that clearly outlined the African proverb
“ Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu”. I have always had a sense of direction and accountability, a deeper knowing that I have a part to play in my community. Secondly Education education, education, I can’t stress that enough. When I speak of education I’m not referring to or just limiting it to university degrees and PHD’s. I’m referring to one’s hunger for knowledge strongly believing that once you have found your passion in life, it comes with the hunger to pursue and educate yourself in that of which you passionate about, trust me it’s easier that way. I’m passionate about business so I pursued that.
What are your company goals?

We’re a company that thrives on innovation and change, business is always changing we must keep up with the what is trending. We believe sustainable development is about finding better ways of doing things, both for the future and the present. We are committed in creating security solutions that are cost infective and tailored to suit our client’s.
Have you ever turned down a client?
Yes, I have. As a company we try by all means to create solutions for our client that are tailor made for their needs, but certain solutions are not part of our service offering. That has been the only time we have had to turn down a client. Just a word of advice do not say you offer a service to a client that you don’t just to add to your bottom line. Trust me it’s not worth it. You will end up being jack of all trades but master of none. Do your best in what you know.
